My explanation was... "A person, from being a baby until he/she grows up, being an adult, then old, that is his/her life."

Her explanation... "Is it like last time, I, zero (0) year old, then I grow, grow, grow and then up, up, up... is it like this?  Is it life, mummy?"

It was the first time Zhen followed me to the wet market.

All she did was crying "This place is so smelly, like 'berak' place!  Mummy, it's hot here... blah, blah... blah..."

Later in the afternoon, she said to me "Mummy, can you next time don't go to the wet market.  We can also get our things from the supermarket, right?"
