Our plan is to visit a muzium in Gopeng but it was closed. We asked the locals where else shall we visit in Gopeng and they told us about this place ~ The Great Wall of Gopeng. It is an Agarwood/Gaharu/Chen-Xiang (沉香) Plantation.
Visiting hours is from 9am-6pm daily.
For the view of the Gaharu valley and hugging the trunk of an old Gaharu tree which is believed to be auspicious, one can purchase the shuttle bus ticket from the shop's counter at RM10/pax.

This Gaharu tree is 19-year old and is 50 feet tall. |
This Gaharu tree is full of bird's nests. According to our guide, this tree is standing at a slope, thus these 'clever' little birds (Murai Kampung/Magpie Robin) chose it to build their nest. |
