from OSTRICH to CHICKEN EGGS

Zhen asked me what's an ostrich this evening... and from ostrich, we went on to ostrich eggs... then we continue to the comparison of ostrich eggs with chicken eggs... and it goes on to the development of a chicken egg to the hatching of a chicken!

WET MARKET

28th February 2009, Saturday Morning
It was the first time Zhen followed me to the wet market.

All she did was crying "This place is so smelly, like 'berak' place!  Mummy, it's hot here... blah, blah... blah..."

Later in the afternoon, she said to me "Mummy, can you next time don't go to the wet market.  We can also get our things from the supermarket, right?"

LION DANCE

14th February 2010, (虎年, 年初一), Sunday Morning
A few days before CNY, I showed Zhen some images and videos of lion dances and dragon dances via youtube.

On the 1st day of CNY, there was lion dance in the neighbourhood, and Zhen's little cousin, Qi Qi, was so eager to go out and watch...

That's when I heard Zhen told Qi Qi, "Don't worry, we can watch afterwards, we can also watch it from the internet!"  ;D

DO NOT LITTER

13th February 2009, Saturday Night

It was CNY's eve and my family went out for dinner.

While waiting for my husband to get the car after dinner, the maid happened to throw a piece of tissue paper into the drain...  Zhen called out to her, "Hei, tak boleh buang sampah!"

TANGLED HAIR

1st December 2009, Tuesday Night

After taking down some photos from the wall, I left the used "tag it" on the table.  Zhen saw them and played with it ("tag it")...

I do not know how she played but she managed to get her hair all tangled up with those "tag it". It was quite difficult to get them out that I felt like cutting off her hair... ;D

GETTING MARRIED

30th November 2009, Monday Night

Zhen: "Mummy, my 'ah koo' (aunt, father's sister) getting married is it? Why she wants to get married? Because she wants to have baby is it? She wants to have children? OMG! I don't want to get married when I'm big. I don't want to have children. Because the children very noisy, then I cannot do work." 

Why Zhen said like that? Maybe because... as I'm in the midst of packing up stuff for shifting... I asked her to do her own things and do not disturb me... as she's sometimes very 'noisy' that I can't do my work. ;-D
